Quick answers to the most common questions about using Quiz Jams.
Get the App
Add Quiz Jams to your home screen for one-tap access — no App Store needed.
That's it — a Quiz Jams icon now sits on your home screen and opens full-screen, just like a regular app. This only works in Safari; other iOS browsers can't install home-screen apps.
Chrome will often prompt you to install automatically — if you see an "Install app" banner, that does the same thing.
Offline Downloads
Save songs to your device so they play without an internet connection.
From the Downloads tab in the app, you can save an entire set or individual songs for offline playback — handy for car rides, practice at the church building, or anywhere signal is unreliable. Once saved, those tracks play straight from your device; no data used, no buffering.
Downloaded songs stay available in the app until you remove them from the Downloads tab.
Karaoke Mode
Follow along word-by-word as each verse plays.
Open any song and tap into Karaoke Mode to see the verse text highlight in sync with the audio, word by word — great for kids who are still learning to read along or memorize a verse for the first time. Karaoke Mode repeats the song automatically so you can run through a verse as many times as needed.
Church Access
One purchase covers everyone at your local church.
If you've purchased a set or bundle, you can invite up to 15 other people at your church — other coaches, teachers, or parents — to full streaming and download access at no extra cost. Each person gets their own login and their own playlists; there's nothing to share or pass around.
Everyone using this access should be part of the same local church using the songs for practice, quizzing, and related ministry use. It's not meant for general public redistribution — for example, posting full downloadable files publicly online or sharing outside your church group. Playing songs during practice, at quiz meets, or in a church class or service is exactly what it's there for.
To invite someone, go to your Dashboard and open the Church Access panel — you'll find the invite tool and your full roster there.
Playlists
Build your own practice sets from any songs you own.
Tap the + on any song to add it to an existing playlist or start a new one. Playlists are personal to your login — even church members sharing access build their own, separately from everyone else's.
- Reorder songs by dragging them within a playlist
- Like a song to add it automatically to your Liked Songs playlist
- Rename or delete a playlist any time from the Playlists tab
